This just in, Yoko Taro’s manga series with Moriyama Daisuke “Thou Shalt Not Die // Kimi Shi ni Tamou Koto Nakare” (TSND) is coming to the stage at the end of the year!
** This is breaking news, so I will continue to update this post with additional information. Beware of possible YoRHa / NieR spoilers. **
July 25th was the release of the 3rd tankoubon version of “Thou Shalt Not Die // Kimi Shi ni Tamou Koto Nakare,” which covers up to chapter 19 of the story. In celebration of the release, there’s another bonus item “fair” in progress. By purchasing the book from various locations, you may receive an extra bonus item!
Here’s a quick look at the bonus items available:
The 2nd Thou Shalt Not Die / Kimi Shi ni Tamou Koto Nakare signing event with Yoko Taro and Moriyama Daisuke has now concluded. This time they were visiting the Tora no Ana store in Nagoya for fans who live near and around the Tokai region of Japan.
They also used a never-before-seen KimiShini poster to decorate the area around the signing table. It looks pretty cool!!
Here are a couple photos from Yoko Taro, Yokoo Yukiko, and Moriyama Daisuke‘s twitter accounts:
EDIT: A slight clarification on a mistake regarding this release. This is *not* Chapter 19, but rather a side story within Chapter 18. Chapter 20 will be released tomorrow, August 25.
The next chapter of TSND, Chapter 18, will feature a couple color pages when it is released tomorrow, June 25, in Big GanGan. There are TWO chapters released this month.
We’ve also got word that the Vol. 3 manga tankoubon will be released on July 25, and there will be all sorts of bonus goodies for purchasing the book at various stores:
Another signing event will be held on July 30th from 2:00pm in the Tora no Ana store in Nagoya! Reservations to the event are only being accepted via phone (0570-0000-26) from July 2-24.

Got off from work a little early today, so I whipped up the rest of the next chapter. Again, it was a “half” size since it was originally published back-to-back with Chapter 11, so it didn’t take too long to do. I’ll try to get working on Chapter 13 next week.

This past week was crazy busy at school with the end of Term 2 and all grades were due by the end of Friday. As a sort of gift to myself, I purchased a ticket to attend Moriyama Daisuke’s comic release party in Shinjuku. Since it was an all-night event, I also booked a room at a hotel in town.
